We were created to worship, yet God gives us the freedom to choose to worship Him. Worship simply means “to give worth to” or to “honor something”. We are always worshipping or praising something or someone whether we know it or not. This can be the stress of school, our video games, a celebrity or anything else that we are showing honor to or placing our worth upon. We can, however, recognize the worth of things in their beauty and goodness as long as they are point us to God.
This song declares that we give our praise and worship to God above all else. It also gives us some reasons to worship God including Him being a savior, healer, and deliverer. As you listen to this song, think about some reasons that make you want to praise God.

God has many qualities that make Him a good father to us. He protects us, teaches us, makes us feel better, and most importantly He loves us so much. He has also revealed himself as a father because He is not a God who just sits in heaven but he deeply cares for us as His children. Nothing is too big, too hard, or too much for God. If God ever fails that means that anything and everything is possible with God. Isn’t that amazing?
He can remove any obstacle, overcome any challenge, and we can trust in Him with anything. What makes this even better is that He makes everything work together for our good even the bad stuff. Deep inside we know this, but sometimes on a bad day it can be difficult to remember this.
